The Growth Company has launched a series of resources to guide SMEs in Greater Manchester to manage staff while remote working.
Following the Government’s guidance that businesses should be encouraging their employees to work from home where possible, many across Greater Manchester have been having to quickly adapt to this way of working.
The Growth Company’s downloadable guide aims to help businesses with challenges they are facing as a result of remote working, including ensuring data security, supplying adequate hardware and setting up the right software to enable effective internal and external communication, as well as looking after the wellbeing of employees remotely.
Resources can be accessed from a new, dedicated microsite, including the downloadable guide and recordings of a series of webinars, at www.businessgrowthhub.com/Coronavirus.
Mark Hughes, Chief Executive of The Growth Company, (pictured) said:
Coronavirus is already having an enormous impact on businesses and the situation is evolving every day which will be causing understandable concerns for business leaders.
“At The Growth Company, flexible working has been embedded within our culture for some time, but a major concern for many businesses will be how they can maintain continuity of service for their customers and clients while staff work from their homes.
“To help support them through this transition, we have created a guide and a video full of useful information, suggestions and solutions that businesses can use to ensure they are taking the right steps to get them successfully through however long this ‘new normal’ needs to last.”
