The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Cheadle branch have helped a postmaster partnership put its own stamp of success at its branch in Chorlton.
Postmasters Paul Coughlan and Naz Hudd are business partners, each running their own post office and also joint postmasters of Chorlton Post Office. When the duo decided to refurbish and introduce enhanced customer services at the Chorlton branch, they turned to RBS for help with funding.
Paul and Naz have been sharing the running of
the Chorlton branch for the last three years,
under the trading name Napcom.
Each works three days a week in Chorlton and
spends the rest of the week at their own
branch.
The formula has been very successful and a
year ago they were approached by the Post
Office to raise Chorlton’s status to a Main
branch, one of the first post offices in the
Manchester area to make the change.
