RBS funding has supported a move for a North West accountancy firm following a period of significant business growth.
Ascendis has relocated to luxurious new offices in Wilmslow supported by a six figure funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland. The firm has acquired a spacious new state of the art property at the exclusive ‘The Colony’ development on Altrincham Road.
The new offices will house both Ascendis’ Didsbury Village and Alderley Edge teams whose offices have been merged together. Staff will enjoy more spacious and comfortable surroundings, improved parking and facilities. The new premises will also provide the firm with plenty of additional space to accommodate future expansion.
Michele Fynan, Relationship Manager, Royal Bank of Scotland, said:
“Ascendis’ new offices are set to provide a great base for the firm for the foreseeable future. I am pleased that we have been able to provide funding to support the acquisition and enable the firm to invest in its future growth.”
Established in 2004 by Managing Director Richard Fleming, Ascendis provides Accountancy, Tax and Financial Business Advice. In addition to the new offices in Wilmslow, the firm is looking to expand and establish a presence in Manchester city centre in the near future. Ascendis currently employs 22 members of staff in the North West, a figure set to increase following its current recruitment drive.
Richard Fleming, Managing Director of Ascendis said:
“We couldn’t be happier with our new premises. We have experienced strong levels of growth during the last few years and this has culminated in our need to acquire larger offices. The Colony is a fantastic development, beautifully and comfortably designed and we are pleased to have acquired a property there. The new premises are not only a great investment for us but provide us with the space we need to grow and will enable us to provide even higher levels of service for our clients.
“The support we have received from Michele Fynan and the team at Royal Bank of Scotland throughout the acquisition period has been excellent. We very much enjoy working with them and look forward to continuing to work together as we focus on our expansion.”
