RBS funding has enabled a Greater Manchester communications specialist to complete the acquisition of Manchester based Digital Telecom Airtime.
The acquisition enables Telesis to strengthen their existing business. Turnover has increased to over £9million and their members of staff to 52.
Digital Telecom Airtime was formed in 2005 as a business telecommunications provider. They are specialists in Cloud telephony, using advanced technology to provide support for services including calls and lines, telephone systems, broadband, NGNs, (Next-Generation Network) and SMS Services.
John Copping Regional Head of the North and Scotland at the Royal Bank of Scotland Corporate Transactions team said:
Telesis has a very strong strategy in place to develop the business and I am delighted to assist them with their continued growth with the acquisition of Digital Telecom Airtime. Telesis is well on track to meet their growth target of achieving £10million turnover and already looking for future acquisition targets this year.”
Telesis remains committed to growing the business through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic growth and this agreement is the firm’s third acquisition in the last two years. Established in 2009, Telesis is based in Bolton. In 2016 the business reported a turnover of £5million and this has now grown to £9million as a result of this latest acquisition.
Telesis supplies firms across the North West with bespoke communication packages covering all requirements including phone systems, calls and lines, mobile services, broadband, call recording, CCTV, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), connectivity products, engineering services as well as other add-ons.
Christian Bleakley, Director of Telesis Limited said:
Digital Telecom Airtime is an excellent addition to the Telesis group and forms a key part of our future growth plans. The business is perfectly located and has a great team that use advanced technology that will complement our existing services and have real synergies with Telesis. We will retain the Digital Telecom Airtime brand and their staff working at the Radcliffe site who will now also become part of the Telesis group. We are really looking forward to working with the team at Digital Telecom Airtime and their customers.
Once again the Royal Bank of Scotland has demonstrated their support and continued confidence in Telesis by funding this latest acquisition. John Copping has been very supportive.
