Stockport based Accountants and Business advisors Bennett Verby are in growth mode in what feels like pre recession times according to the CEO Bernard Verby. The company has seen double digit growth in business performance that is continuing through 2014.
“We are very much in growth mode and have been for over 2 years as we believe that the growth graph for the next few years is going to be quite steep. To prepare for this we are currently recruiting additional professional staff and admin support together with supporting our graduate and modern apprentice programs.”
Innovation in the way businesses operate and service clients is often the way to reinvent and Bernard believes this is key to moving forward.
” I think over the recessionary period many businesses like our own have had to reinvent the way we attract new work, pricing structures and timescales. Peoples buying patterns have changed and I have noticed that both individuals and business owners take longer to make a decision over most purchases and once it is made they want the product or service in a very short time scale. This could be as simple as someone buying a laptop on line to a company ordering a new machine. Where businesses who used to have the comfort of a long order book now they almost have to work to a just in time principal and this works the way down the line to all their suppliers.”
As part of the future plans for Bennett Verby they have also recently invested over £250k in their head offices in Stockport plus a new IT infrastructre to allow for expansion and future plans. This coupled with enhanced budgets for busines development will allow for the hiring of extra staff and employment opportunities in this sector.
