Peak Translations have been shortlisted in the Derbyshire Small Business of the Year category in the 2018 East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Based in SK22, Whaley Bridge in the High Peak, Helen Provart, Managing Director and the team at Peak Translation are celebrating their 40thyear anniversary this year with a series of events and activities held across the year to mark the occasion.
Helen said:
“I am absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted as a finalist both for me and the team here at Peak Translations, particularly in our 40thanniversary year. Having taken over the company in 2014, I have been working on the strategic management of the business in order to grow but also to promote the importance of our industry, the need to work with qualified linguists to ensure high quality and standards to get the right message across, as well as working on the sustainability of the industry by supporting linguists to enter and build their careers.
“To now be recognised for the steps that have been taken and the exciting journey that the company has already experienced is an amazing achievement.”
Each finalist will now face a panel of judges before the winners will be announced on Friday, 7th September, at an awards ceremony held at Pride Park Stadium, Derby.
The winners of each category will have the chance to compete in regional and national heats of the British Chamber of Commerce Awards.
The best of luck to Helen and the Peak Translations team!
