Following the success of the One Stockport Business Support sessions in the town centre, the team are taking to the road bringing free business advice and support directly to local businesses.
Through 2026, the team will head out into district centres across the borough in 2026, starting with a session at Hazel Grove Library on Friday 6th March from 10am to 4pm.
During its first year in 2025, the One Stockport Business Support Hub supported 97 pre-start, start-up and established local businesses of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors from the Merseyway Innovation Centre.
With additional business support events planned for across Stockport’s district centres in 2026, even more local business owners, start-ups and self-employed residents will be able to access free, tailored 1-to-1 advice on all business needs from trusted partners including GM Business Growth Hub, Enterprising You, GM Libraries Build a Business, Stockport College Business Innovation Hub and Stockport Council.
Sessions are informal and designed to provide practical help, whether businesses are just getting started or looking to take their next step. Drop in anytime between 10am to 4pm, or pre-book for priority via Eventbrite.
Unable to make this session? The Stockport Business Support Hub is also at Merseyway Innovation Centre in the Town Centre on the last Friday of every month – book your place at the next session here.
