Inness Design Stockport have delivered a re-brand project for Cheshire based Northane, specialist suppliers of raw materials to two distinct sectors.
Northane chemicals are suppliers of Speciality raw materials including Polyols, Engineering thermoplastics and additives for use in varied applications including; automotive and construction markets.
Northane Sport & Play are UK’s leading provider of raw materials for synthetic sports & playground surfaces.
The new logo uses the ‘N’ to link the two sides of the business.
“We wanted the logo to be confident and disincentive. Northane work for and with some very big international businesses and it was important that the Northane branding had corporate gravitas to match. ” said Inness Mattinson.
The new identity includes an umbrella brand and the 2 sub-brands. The Northane name is set in a charcoal grey using a sans-serif typeface. A core colour palette using electric blue and orange has been used to separate the sub-brands.
Owen Twiss, Director a Northane commented:
“the re-branding process has been smooth and well managed and we continue to be delighted with the outcomes. Inness and Sue have spent time getting to understand our marketing goals and Northane now has a strong and distinctive presence within the business sectors we operated and across the UK.”
The new WordPress websites now reflect the high quality of service offered by Northane. All the sites are designed so that the client can easily manage the content and so use the site as a business tool rather than a simple online brochure.
The project has so far included logo’s, branding, content writing, photography, stationery and the design and build of three WordPress websites, the third of which is due for launch in September.
“We now have a brand which accurately reflects the business and we are now seen, quiet rightly, as the ‘go-to’ supplier within our sectors” added Owen.
