New Stockport 10K to bring runners together at Edgeley Park

Stockport County Community Trust is supporting the Stockport 10K, a brand-new closed-road race that will raise vital funds for the Trust’s free community health programmes.

Organised by RunThrough, in partnership with Vitality, the event will start at 9:00am, Sunday 19 July 2026, on Hardcastle Road before taking runners on a fast, flat 10-kilometre route through Bramhall Park, culminating in a memorable finish inside Edgeley Park at the Cheadle End.

The event is open to runners of all abilities, from those chasing a personal best to those taking on their very first 10K. Participants are invited to run in support of Stockport County Community Trust. Those wishing to run for the Trust are encouraged to select the Trust as their chosen charity when registering through the official event website.

The Trust is also inviting businesses from across Stockport and Cheshire to become official kilometre marker sponsors for the race. Sponsorship packages include company branding displayed on one of the race’s kilometre markers, providing exposure to an anticipated audience of more than 2,000 runners and spectators.

Funds raised will support the Trust to deliver free-to-access Health & Wellbeing programmes.
