Stockport based Construction Project Management and Health & Safety Consultants Green PM have recruited expert Rachel Tate to the team.
Rachel’s move to Green PM follows a successful 2016 for the which saw a move to larger premises and an increasing workload for clients such as ENWL, Place First, Cheshire East Council and Lancaster University.
Rachel`s appointment in February 2017 takes the overall Green PM team to 11 and demonstrates its ongoing commitment to sustainable construction practices.
Jonathan Greenhalgh, Managing Director of Green Project Management said;
“I am delighted that Rachel has chosen to join us and with her knowledge, experience and drive I know she will be a great asset to Green Project Management and help us to further grow as a business.”

Closer to home the renovation of four apartments for the Private Rental Sector (PRS) in 2011 was the catalyst that started Rachel`s journey towards becoming a project manager.
“I am finding many synergies between my previous career and project management; a client focus, problem solving, the ability to work under pressure, individually and part of a team, are all skills that I possess.
“Research undertaken as part of my dissertation made me realise that SME’s provide an environment in which I could thrive; Green PM is just such an organisation and MD Jonathan Greenhalgh is an extremely knowledgeable and approachable person. This is an amazing opportunity to learn within a supportive environment, from colleagues with a wealth of experience.”
Rachel was also attracted by the fact that Green PM have a diverse team which is split 50/50 by female and male employees, quite unusual within the construction industry where around only 13% of the workforce are women.
“The company`s professional approach to tasks combined with their motivation to keep evolving and improving is fantastic. They use the strengths and motivations of individuals within the team to develop as a business and move forward in a fast-moving industry.
“Finally, the businesses emphasis on sustainable construction aligns with my personal interests, I am really excited about my role within Green PM and how I will develop as an individual and support the ongoing development of the business.”
