A new leadership support programme for businesses across Greater Manchester is set to launch in May from the GC Business Growth Hub.
The Greater Manchester Leadership Hive, delivered by the Business Growth Hub and business school’s from the city-region’s universities, aims to bring together management and leadership support and training for Greater Manchester businesses under a single banner. The programme will offer a mix of fully-funding development programmes and online learning resources, as well as mentoring and networking opportunities for business leaders in the city-region.
Existing fully-funding programmes that will come under the Leadership Hive umbrella include national support schemes, such as the Help to Grow: Management programme.
Local business support initiatives also to be delivered by the programme include the Skills for Growth service, providing support for businesses to upskill their workforce, and Enterprising You, offering bespoke guidance to the self-employed, freelancers and gig economy workers earning under £27,000 per annum.
Peer Networks for leaders in the city-region, as well as mini business accelerator, the GM High Growth Network will also be delivered through the Greater Manchester Leadership Hive.
The Greater Manchester Leadership Hive will officially launch at a breakfast event on 11th May 2022 from 8am to 11.30am at Bruntwood SciTech’s No. 1 Circle Square in Manchester City Centre. In addition to networking, attendees will hear from a number of business leaders in the city region, including:
