Global market research agency B2B International has strengthened its expertise in the agricultural market with the appointment of new research manager, Iris Morgenstern. Joining from Produkt + Markt, where she worked in the specialist agribusiness department, Morgenstern brings additional skills and experience to boost the UK-headquartered organisation’s international operations in major agricultural research markets.
With more than 12 years’ experience in the sector, Morgenstern has worked for some of the world’s foremost brands, including Bayer, BASF, Syngenta, DuPont, Dow AgroScience, CLAAS, and John Deere.
She joins the company’s office in Düsseldorf, Germany, which works with clients including Dräger, BASF and Sandoz.
Matthew Harrison, CEO at B2B International, commented:
“Large agricultural suppliers are increasingly looking to target the burgeoning markets in the Far East, particularly China, and with offices across the region in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore we are well placed to advise on their activities. With the current position of a weakened euro, it is an especially attractive time for European-based businesses to be looking at such opportunities in international markets.
“We have operated widely in agrichemicals and packaging for a number of years in Europe, and are now keen to use our global network to grow our presence across this market. With extensive experience of the industry and research delivery across the world’s markets, Iris brings complimentary skills to our existing teams and the knowledge and expertise to shape our activity and offering in the Far East. We welcome her to our team.”
Iris added:
“B2B International has an excellent reputation within business-to-business market research and it’s very exciting to be part of such an ambitious organisation. I look forward to working with an established network of teams across the globe to capitalise on new opportunities, and to help build the company’s presence in the agricultural sector.”
B2B International has a history of delivering successful market research programmes for world-leading clients including Microsoft, MasterCard and Barclays. The firm was recently ranked the 5th fastest-growing agency by the Market Research Society in their Annual League Table – the global rankings assess the 20 market research agencies achieving the largest year-on-year growth. Earlier this year, the firm opened an additional office in Singapore and its latest financial results showed a year-on-year increase in revenue to £7.5 million (year-end December 2014).
