Stockport based musicMagpie lived up to its name at a five-a-side tournament for businesses who together raised over £2,000 for charity.
Famous as the easiest go-to-place to declutter and get cash for your unwanted stuff, musicMagpie were victorious having beaten LSC in the final.
The event, which was run by Manchester co-working space, Work.Life, raised £2,006 for We Love MCR – the Lord Mayor of Manchester’s charity to support young people and communities across Manchester.
Sixteen teams took part in the football tournament, including LadBible, AO.com, Deliveroo, Mercarto and musicMagpie.
Organised by Manchester by city centre’s Work.Life, the tournament was open to businesses across the city region and was hosted by FIVES Soccer Centre, Trafford, who also donated £400 to the charity.
