The second batch will be planted on Wednesday, 4 March between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm and will take the total number of trees planted to 1,000.
The day will once again be organised by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust and Red Rose Forest who will supply all equipment and light refreshments for the day.
Other organisations will also be on hand to help with the planting but members of staff from MDT-UK and any other local residents are more than welcome to join in. Volunteers should make themselves known to the organisers at their meeting point in the centre of the fields, just off the main footpath.
Access to the fields is via Crossfield Grove, SK2 7EQ or Barlow’s Lane South off Bramhall Moor Lane.
