A HOTEL and leisure centre in Disley, near Stockport, is to close with the loss of up to 75 jobs.
The Moorside Grange Hotel, initially an independent hotel set up by the Pickup family, is on Mudhurst Lane and has been operating as a hotel and spa and leisure centre with 1,500 members.
Following a number of changes in owners it was sold by Best Western last June to Glasgow firm Chardon Management, which has been given permission to turn it into a private educational centre for youngsters with learning disabilities.
