Stockport charity, Millie’s Trust, are hosting a Gin & Comic Charity Comedy Night in Cheadle Hulme to raise funds for the organisation.
The comedy night will take place on Friday March 13th from 7.30pm at Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme. Tickets cost £20 per person, and include a curry.
The interactive show will include audience participation and gin related games and prizes.
Comedians Lindsey Davies and Dawn Margaret will be hosting the evening.
Lindsey Davies, from Southport, is a former Regional finalist of the Funny Women Awards 2017, and uses a cutting, sharp wit with dark humour as she jests about ger life as a single mother. She has also written comedy novel Mr Wrong and a play that was performed at Edinburgh’s Fringe.
Dawn Margaret won the XS Manchester Radio Comedian of the Year in 2016, and went to present a show for the station. She describes herself as “a forty-something Mum who views life through happy specs and giddy knickers.” Not one to shy away from a glass of gin, it was the love for the beverage and her friendship with fellow comedian and gin drinker, Lindsey Davies that started the birth of the Gin and Comic comedy nights.
Tickets for the comedy night are available through the Millie’s Trust website, by emailing the charity or calling 016 485 1321.
