The successful candidate will be solely responsible for arranging all customer photocopier and print deliveries, installations, machine moves and withdrawals whilst paying great attention to detail and providing top quality customer service. Additional responsibilities will include managing developing and recruiting new candidates for her/his team, working closely with the IT installations team to ensure customers expectations are met and leasing with the van team leader to ensure delivery notes and van notes are prepared in time.
Midshire Stockport have 4,789 machines in the field (MIFS) and deliver on average 6 machines a day, as well as relocating and withdrawing existing machines ready for upgrades with a fleet of 4 vans on the road.
The position of logistics team leader is ideal for a candidate already working in a similar role for at least 12 months. Working in a fast paced industry, the candidate should be confident, have excellent social skills, be personable and have the ability to knit a team together to obtain the best results.
