Marple based Arden Software, a computer-aided design (CAD) and packaging design specialist software company, have acquired American firm, Cimex.
Massachusetts based Cimex developed the CimPACK software, CAD software also used in the sector, for print, packaging and die-making. Its software is often used alongside Arden’s Impact program.
Andrew Carey, President at Cimex Corporation, added:
Many of our customers use both Cimex and Arden Software products, and as companies, we share many of the same traits. We have both worked with and for our customers for many years developing our expertise in our fields, so the joining of our two companies is very complementary.”
