MAN’s main man, Wayne Jones, is donning his hiking boots and putting his best foot forward to raise funds for the Heaton School, Stockport.
In October Wayne, CEO of
MAN PrimeServ Diesel,
(pictured below) will
commence a challenging
four-day, 90 mile (145km)
‘Coast to Coast’ charity-
sponsored walk taking in
one of the UK’s most
famous walking
destinations and
historical sites – Hadrian’s
Wall.
Wayne’s efforts are in aid of the Heaton School in Stockport, a special
school for pupils aged 11–19 years who have severe or profound
learning disabilities. Located approximately 5 miles (8km) from
MDT-UK’s Headquarters in Hazel Grove, the school is looking for help
in converting a piece of land into a memorial working garden and allotment in remembrance of former students who the school sadly
lose at a very early age..
MDT-UK Stockport already works very closely with the school as students visit the Hazel
Grove site on a weekly basis looking to gain valuable experience in the workplace.
If anyone wishes to support Wayne with his fundraising, then donations can be made via www.simplygiving.com/waynejoneswalk Thank you.
