The latest Manchester Monitor Quarterly report, published by Marketing Manchester’s New Economy, shows continuing signs of economic recovery across the North West.
Job Seeker numbers continue to fall – down 25.8% in 12 months; there is growth and optimism among businesses in Greater Manchester as 35% of surveyed firms reported increased turnover; airport passenger numbers were up 4.6% since January 2013; hotel occupancy across the GM region was 76% – an increase of 1% in the previous 12 months and the number of reported crimesis down by 1.3% since February 2013.
