MAN Diesel & Turbo has made the most radical change in the company’s history and changed its name to MAN Energy Solutions as it embarks on a successful future with new energy.
On August 1st, MAN Turbo and Diesel UK aligned with the global re-positioning of the group to become MAN Energy Solutions.
The name MAN Energy Solutions stands for the company’s new strategic and technological dawn and its transformation to of energy into concrete benefits, both economic and social.
As the global economy looks to become climate neutral by 2050, as resolved by the international community at the Paris climate agreement, MAN not only wants to go along with this transition but is intent on making it a success for their customers with sustainable solutions.
The new brand identity is characterised by brighter colours, a lighter font and a visual language with emphasis on inter-relationships. The new brand claim – Future in the making – is inherently forward-looking, representing a promise to generate practical benefits and enable continuous development.
Wayne Jones OBE, formerly based at MAN Energy Solutions in Hazel Grove and since January 2016 a Member of the Executive Board of MAN Energy Solutions SE (formerly MAN Diesel & Turbo SE) (Chief Sales Officer, CSO), responsible for the global Sales and After-Sales activities explained:

And what would Rudolph Diesel have to say about what is the most radical change in the company’s recent history?

Which is totally in keeping with the spirit of Rudolph Diesel and his motto: ‘To want is to be able'”.
