Last month, MAN Diesel & Turbo UK Ltd (MDT-UK) attended the annual Meet the Buyer event held at Stockport Town Hall.
Arranged by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, this event gave some 200 local businesses the opportunity to meet purchasing departments from Stockport’s leading organisations and businesses and to pitch for future work.
A wide range of opportunities and services were in demand on the day with over 400 one-to-one appointments made, ranging from catering supplies and florists through to large-scale commercial contracts. In relation to MDT-UK, this event will lead to a number of local businesses being invited to tend for goods and services in areas such as cleaning, grounds maintenance, workwear, security and personal protective equipment.
