NHS services in Stockport are inviting Stockport residents to get boosted this New Year and make vaccination against Covid-19 their New Year’s Resolution for 2022.
Being fully vaccinated will protect yourself, your family and friends from getting seriously ill from the virus and reduce transmission of the Omicron variant. Walk-in clinics and appointments via the NHS website are available at a number of locations across Stockport.
Anyone aged 18+ who had their second jab three months ago should get boosted. Anyone aged 16 or 17 who had their first jab three months ago should get their second dose. These groups can book appointments, or attend a walk-in clinic.
Anyone aged 12 to 15 who had their first jab three months ago should get their second dose, and should book an appointment in advance.
There are plenty of ways to get vaccinated including at the One Stockport Hub, Mersey Square, Stockport, SK1 1RA, which is continuing to operate solely as a walk-in vaccination clinic. It is open from Tuesday, 4 January, to Saturday, 8 January, 10am to 3pm.

“A really quick and easy New Year’s resolution would be getting your COVID-19 vaccination, whether it’s your first, second or booster vaccination.
“With rates rising rapidly it’s more important than ever to protect yourself and those around you and help reduce the transmission of the Omicron strain of the virus. Book an appointment or go to a walk in as soon as you are eligible.”
