Hazel Grove’s Lyme Design and Build held a golf day to raise over £4,000 for Seashell Trust and it was a great success.
Hazel Grove’s Lyme Design and Build live by the mantra “you’re only as good as your last job” embodying this statement into every job and every customers individual needs, makes them the perfect representative to hold an event for Seashell Trust.
The event was a great success with around 60 clients, suppliers and employees of the construction firm played at Hazel Grove Golf followed by a dinner with a silent auction and raffle.
Collectively, the event raised over £4,000 for the Cheadle Hulme charity which is national centre of excellence in care and education of children and young adults with complex learning and physical disabilities.
Scott Wilson, co-owner of Lyme Design and Build, said:
“After ten years in business, we have been looking to put something back into the community. We had a wonderful day and weather was beautiful. Some great golf was played but it was more about coming together to raise money for a great cause rather than winning.”
Seashell Trust fundraiser Wendy Bray said:
“We are so grateful to everyone at Lyme Design and Build and all who supported the day for raising so much money and really embracing our cause. It was fantastic day and we can’t wait for next year!”
