Manchester Airport is launching a Valentine’s Day competition, giving passengers the chance to get their holidays off to a romantic start.
The Northern hub is on the hunt for couples flying through Manchester Airport on Valentine’s Day, and will offer one couple the chance to have a date inside its terminals.
The lucky pair will get a VIP treatment, including Fast Track through security, and a three-course meal in one of the airport’s 12 restaurants. Couples flying from Manchester Airport on Valentine’s Day can enter by emailing how the prize would make their trip special, including details of where they are flying to.
Mike Ward, Head of Retail at Manchester Airport, said:
“We believe no one should miss out on a Valentine’s Day date, even those with a flight to catch, which is why we have launched this initiative.
“With a host of bars and restaurants and shops selling a wealth of romantic items like perfume and jewellery, the airport is actually an ideal place to a have date and treat your loved one.
“I am sure there will be plenty of couples jetting off to some of our romantic destinations this February 14th so cannot wait to hear the stories and entries come through.”
Manchester Airport has some other romantic surprises in store for passengers flying out on Valentine’s Day. These will be shared live throughout the day on its social media channels including Fast Track passes, lounge access and goodies from duty free.
If you want to put yourself forward entries detailing your destination, flight number, contact details, and reasons why the date would make your trip extra special should be emailed to Manchester Airport’s Press Office. Couples must be aged 18 or over, and the winning pair will be announced by Tuesday 11th February.
