Stockport based Michelle Hay Training is the brains behind a new campaign – ‘Stockport Works Safer’ – highlighting the true cost of not managing health and safety to employers, MDs, CEOs, directors, managers and supervisors or anyone with a responsibility for health and safety at work.
Following the HSE’s published statistics for the Northwest, Michelle wants to get the message across that the true cost of not managing health and safety is coming out of local business’ profits and the public’s purse.
She believes that Stockport is a great place to live and recognises that it holds a special title of being officially the ‘fourth happiest place to live in the country’ and is campaigning to make it the safest place to work too.
FREE WORKSHOPS!
Michelle has teamed up with fellow Marketing Stockport member Clarke Nicklin and is running a series of Stockport Works Safer workshops for free, to raise awareness of the many benefits of managing health and safety at work.
Michelle explains:
“I am totally passionate about this often ignored and misunderstood topic and want to raise awareness of the many benefits of managing health and safety at work. I am on a mission to reduce accidents and ill-health throughout the Northern Power House, starting here in my home town of Stockport.”
