Stockport businesses welcomed the Prime Minister David Cameron on his tour of the North West this
week. David Cameron visited Stockport this week where he addressed an audience from the business community at Bredbury Hall Hotel before moving on to host a live Q&A with Global Radio at its Capital FM and Xfm studios in Manchester.
Bredbury Hall Hotel Chairman Stephen Finch (above) welcomed the Prime Minister David Cameron on behalf of his fellow board members and Hotel staff, where upwards of 200 invited guests enjoyed the facilities of the Goyt Valley Suite.
The visit was arranged by the North West conservative party office and from Bredbury David Cameron went onto Manchester where he spent more than an hour of live Q&A with Global Radio at its Capital FM and Xfm studios. Mr Cameron answered questions from listeners and staff on subjects including cyber-bullying, apprenticeships, the spare room subsidy and childcare costs.
After the Q&A, the Prime Minister said:
I really enjoyed it. There were lots of great questions and a really big variety – internet, musical taste and everything else.
