More than 35,000 people signed up to the Greater Manchester Fair Energy scheme when it was launched in January – more than any other energy switching project of its kind in the country.
People across Greater Manchester saved a total of £3m across their bills with an average cost saving of £122 per annum for each resident.
The Leader of Stockport Council, Councillor Sue Derbyshire, said:
“This is the second opportunity for residents to find out whether they are receiving the best deal possible from their energy supplier. There is nothing to lose by registering to take part in the auction, as residents don’t have to take the deal on offer. I’d urge anyone interested to register now and find out whether they can save some money.”
