Kids Allowed is opening its brand new Childcare Centre in Stockport this week.
The opening of the 5th centre follows on from the success of the centres in Knutsford, Cheadle Royal, Didsbury and Macclesfield. In addition to nursery care for babies from 3 months old, the centre offers before and after school provision, holiday clubs, room hire for parties and daily parent and toddler activities.
The centres were created by Jennie Johnson, whose aim it is to create a company which offers an innovative, family-centric and holistic approach to childcare. Jennie says:
“After all of our hard work we are overjoyed that this has become a reality. With the opening of the fifth Kids Allowed child care centre, Stockport will have our range of quality services readily available. With our team of dedicated colleagues, we are confident that the Stockport centre will be just as popular as our others. Indeed, within the first weekend of opening, over 30 families have already booked a place for their child”
The Centre has been built to a very high specification on the former site of the Acton Court Hotel, just a mile south from Stockport Town Centre. It has age specific rooms with lots of natural light, a sensory room, a state-of-the-art roof top garden, one way porthole windows so parents can see their children settling in without disturbing them and biometric fingerprint technology to ensure top security and safety throughout the centre at all times.
James Crosswell from Stockport who has worked for Kids Allowed for over 7 years and was previously the Manager at the Didsbury site has been appointed as manager for the new Stockport centre. James commented,
“I am delighted to be leading the team at Stockport and delighted that we have finally been able to open our doors this week after such positive anticipation. The new building is the perfect environment to allow the kids to grow and flourish”.
Kids Allowed will also be responding to the needs of local professionals in the area such as medical staff at Stepping Hill Hospital by introducing an early drop-off service, offering parents more flexibility in their day to day family lives. Kids Allowed also offers First Aid training to all parents as part of their services.
