Low Carbon Technology specialists, Kast, will showcase a range of energy reducing technologies for businesses as their mobile showroom gets back on the road after the coronavirus pandemic.
Kast’s mobile showroom will be based at Broadstone Mill in Reddish on the 20th July as restrictions in place due to the coronavirus are lifted, allowing businesses in Stockport to see, by appointment only, new technology that can help reduce energy bills or meet sustainability goals.
Lockdown measures, with fewer cars on the road and reduced emissions from manufacturing processes, saw an increase in air quality and fall in CO2 emissions and has caused many businesses to consider how they can increase their sustainability as they reopen.
Kast’s mobile showroom features a range of technologies that can help reduce energy costs and consumption, including:
- Solar PV and battery storage, allowing businesses to generate and store renewable electricity
- Air Source Heat Pumps, that can reduce hot water bills by up to 60%
- Ground Source Heat Pumps, as a green replacement for large heating systems
- LED lighting, one of the simplest ways to lower a business’ carbon footprint
- Electric vehicle charge points, providing infrastructure to replace existing fleet vehicles with hybrid or electric alternatives
- Remote energy monitoring systems to monitor where energy consumption is going to target investment in cost-cutting measures
- De-stratification Fans, to reduce energy costs heating and cooling large spaces, such as warehouses and manufacturing floors.
Kast’s mobile showroom and Tech Truck will be at Broadstone Mill in Reddish on 20th July. Appointments to explore ways your business can reduce energy costs and improve environmental credentials can be arranged by emailing the Kast Energy team.
