The Hughes/Speedworks Motorsport Team will once again have multiple Ginetta Champion Tom Ingram at the wheel of it’s Toyota Avensis to compete in the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The Stockport based outfit gave Ingram his break into the UK’s premier Motorsport in 2014 following his Championship win in the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup. After a rollercoaster year that gave Tom a plethora of top ten finishes, more than his fair share of bad luck, and some blindingly quick qualifying, both Tom and the Team will be able to hit the ground running.
Explains Hughes Safety Showers boss, Tony Hughes:
“We know Tom well now, and he knows us. The first season in the BTCC is notoriously difficult for drivers, particularly those coming from rear-wheel drive.
“We saw it ourselves with Adam Morgan in 2012, he’s now proved himself with experience, I’ve no doubt that Tom has the pace to move the Team up the grid. He’s a lovely lad, and we’re very happy to have him back.”
The season kicks off at Brands Hatch in Kent on the 4/5th April, and with a busy testing schedule ahead of them, plus the official season launch [and test] at Donington on the 24th March, both BRDC SuperStar; Tom, and the Team should be in fine shape on the starting grid come April.
