Impey secures tenants for Rusholme’s San Court

Independent Stockport property, Impey & Company has secured new tenants for Eamar Development’s San Court scheme in Rusholme, with the final unit also under offer.

San Court was built by Eamar Developments UK Limited  in 2019 and comprises approx. 9,900 sq. ft of retail space across eight units in the heart of Rusholme, together with 54 residential apartments.

The latest lettings, which total 2,211 sq ft, are to Ecco Pizzeria and Heavenly Desserts Manchester Limited which are both expanding their existing operations. They are joined by Halal Smokehouse as the most recent signing.

Commenting on the lettings Impey & Company surveyor Johnathan Poole said:

We have had a good deal of interest in the retail units at San Court and are really pleased to have secured these lettings especially under the current circumstances. It is a testament to the scheme that we have completed leases on 7 of the 8 units. The site is well located just 1.5 miles outside of Manchester city centre. It is also at the heart of the famous curry mile which is heavily populated and close to the city’s university campus so attracts a good level of footfall.”

Eamar Developments UK Limited is a family run property investment and development company. It was set up in the UK in 2012 with 20 years’ experience in Saudi Arabia, across two generations of the family. The company’s portfolio also includes Stockport’s famous 86,000 sq. ft Pyramid building which is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment programme. Two of its other projects, Hardy’s Well in Fallowfield and Rock Row in Stockport are also undergoing redevelopment.

Impey & Company are sole agents on San Court and are also appointed as property managers for the commercial element of the scheme.
