Relationship bank Handelsbanken Stockport has appointed a new Corporate Manager in response to increasing demand for its local banking services.
Morgan Auld joins the branch with over 25 years of banking experience.
He will be involved in developing existing customer relationships as well as welcoming new customers to Handelsbanken’s dedicated approach to local banking.
Branch manager David Kovacs said: “I am delighted to welcome Morgan and his substantial experience to our team.
“Having a consistent approach in all market conditions enables us to provide a world class service to local Stockport businesses and individuals, delivered by branch staff who know their customers and their patch best.
“Morgan joins us with this ethic at the core of what he’s about and he is committed to our collective aim of having the most satisfied banking customers in Stockport.”
A focus on long-term relationships and high levels of personal service has seen the bank rated the top provider of current accounts in a Government-backed survey of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and for customer satisfaction seven years running in an independent survey of British banks’ personal and business customers.
Branches are responsible for making all day-to-day banking decisions based solely on their customers’ requirements, free from product and lending targets or bonus incentives.
Morgan said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Handelsbanken team in Stockport.
“I was attracted to Handelsbanken by its focus on serving the customer. As experienced local bankers we have the power to make the majority of decisions that matter to our customers, swiftly and sensibly here in the branch.
“The bank provides customers with a high level of service, and products structured to meet their individual needs.
The branch, established in 2008 and located on Acorn Business Park, has developed a reputation for traditional banking, financial strength and high standards within the local business and professional services community.
