Staff, colleagues and client from Stockport based Hallidays Accountants gave up their Saturday afternoon to pedal at around 100rpm for 2 hours for children who can’t do it for themselves – incentive enough that helped to raise over £800 for the Seashell Trust.
Hallidays (Stockport) team members, client and introducer pedal through the pain at the Spinathon held on Saturday 17th August at Life Leisure, Romiley. Life Leisure kindly donated the spin studio for the afternoon plus the bottled water for the team.
Everyone in the group succeeded in cycling a distance of over 50k with some personal targets reaching 75k. The group cycling were Hallidays client Marie Wright of Paragon CPS Limited (www.paragoncps.com), Andrew Booth, Turner Parkinson (www.tp.co.uk ), an introducer to Hallidays and team members, Jane Bennett, Marketing Manager, Anna Bennett, Partner, Nigel Bennett, Managing Partner, Dee Jones, Accounts & Audit Senior, Liz Ridley Audit & Accounts Assistant.
A huge thanks to Mr. Motivator Jonathan Knowles, Sports Therapist, who offered his support throughout the event and to all those who kindly sponsored team members. Over £800 was raised from this one event. Adding to the £6,000 raised from previous fundraising.
The event was organised to raise sponsorship for five of our team members who are climbing the Great Wall of China in October and are aiming to raise over £10,000 for the Seashell Trust.
