Stockport based Hallidays (‘more than just accountants’) are celebrating their ‘Employer of the Year’ Finalist nomination at the 2018 E3 Business Awards.
Hallidays know their team is the vital key to success, more important than even the Avengers infinity stones! They are as committed to growing and supporting their team members as they are their clients, knowing that a happy team creates happy clients. Recent surveys reveal a client happiness score of 95%, and 100% of their team look forward to coming to work. Their values of ‘Growth’ and ‘Support’ are at the core of everything they do.
Hallidays Managing Director, Nigel Bennett says:
“I’m so proud Hallidays was nominated as a finalist for this award. We’ve worked hard to enhance the way we work, creating more flexibility for our team to enjoy a great work-life balance whilst supporting our clients to grow and develop their businesses. I love seeing our team members gain new skills and progress their careers. Together we work hard but we also hugely enjoy socialising and having fun together which is key to creating a fantastic team!”
Hallidays Office Manager, Mandy Sheridan says why she loves working at Hallidays:
“As a company we care massively about the welfare, happiness and the work-life balance of our team. We are constantly evolving and introducing new ideas. We recently scrapped our core hours to provide our team with greater flexibility in managing their work and their life – which enables them to meet the needs of our clients at the same time as the needs of their families. We introduced casual Fridays, we have team building days, social nights, team lunches – all designed to create a relaxed and friendly culture that we feel enhances our working relationships and creates a happy team who take pride in supporting each other.”
In addition to supporting team members to gain formal qualifications in their fields, Hallidays have also recently developed their own bespoke training programme focusing on building strong relationships with their clients to become the superheroes they were destined to be.
Liz Chiva is also celebrating her recent promotion to HR Director. She says:
“The team at Hallidays are so friendly and I love the autonomy I am given to carry out my work. As a parent, I’m grateful for the flexi-time system, as well as the additional flexibility shown to me when my cherubs are poorly! All in all, I am extremely happy here at Hallidays and I’m thrilled to be taking the next step in my career.”
When the Hallidays team are not helping clients to grow, they are supporting local charities and are currently fundraising for The Weekend Day Centre, which support people with dementia and their families in Stockport.
