Peak Translations are climbing high and have expanded their local team
As Manchester Airport opens up more routes to the Far East, Europe and USA, and business opportunities overseas increase, Peak Translations has seen the demand for their services climb to the new heights.
Following an expansion of the team last year, the company have now taken on an Apprentice.
Shannon Bennett has joined Peak Translation in the role of Marketing & Administration assistant and plays a supporting role within the company, providing valuable assistance to the Project Management team, as well as working on marketing campaigns and promotional activities to boost the company’s profile within the various key markets.
Shannon says, “I am really enjoying my apprenticeship and am settling really well into the team.
“It’s great to have the chance to learn on the job and be able to put into practice the modules I am currently studying. The move from a student environment to a work environment has also given me a lot of confidence on a personal level.”
Helen Provart, managing director at Peak Translations said: “The business is growing and, as a great supporter of the Apprenticeship scheme, I was really pleased to be able to bring Shannon into Peak.
“As well as supporting the business, Shannon is working towards her own qualification from college which will enable her to develop her own career path in the future.”
