SMEs in Greater Manchester have gained access to a new fully-funded training programme to bolster digital transformation efforts in the region’s businesses.
The training programme, run by Manchester Digital and North West Skills Academy and part of the government’s Skills for Growth investment, is open to senior staff and decision makers in SMEs who are looking to boost their leadership skills to drive Digital Transformation within their business.
The programme will consist of two full days and give attendees essential leadership skills to inform actionable, growth-focused changes within an organisation. The aim of the programme is to equip senior leadership and decision makers in SMEs with the tools and processes to help prepare their business for high growth, focusing upon the development of their proposition and people. Over the course of the sessions, the content will explore:
- A review of attendees’ business models and how resilient they are for the next 3-5 years
- How do you add value for your customer?
- Pitching the proposition in the most persuasive and compelling fashion
- Understanding and developing Emotional Intelligence
- How to create high performing teams
- Behaving like great leader
Sessions will be led by Programme Lead Andrew Thomas. Andrew is an experienced commercial marketer with significant digital expertise. As a strategic advisor, business coach and mentor he has worked with companies from start-up to conglomerate, across a number of verticals providing support to achieve high growth.
