Gorvins Solicitors business legal services expertise has supported its client pitch to secure funding on Dragons’ Den.
Manchester entrepreneur, Richard Clark pitched his business, Drynks Unlimited, alongside Sales Director Paul Briscoe, to secure funding for their range of 0% alcohol beers and ciders.
Gorvins has worked with Drynks Unlimited since 2017 and helped Richard and their team to pull together the legal due diligence required before appearing on the show. Last year, Gorvins corporate and commercial team also supported skincare entrepreneur Hannah Sillitoe to successfully pitch in front of the Dragons on the BBC2 show.
Christian Mancier, Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team at Gorvins said:
It has been a pleasure to support Drynks from its infancy through various rounds of investment as it continues to disrupt the market with a truly premium product.
“The Gorvins’ team looks forward to continuing their relationship with Richard and the Drynks team as they continue to go from strength to strength.”
Talking about his time on the show, Richard Clark, Founder of Drynks Unlimited said:
It was brilliant experience and it really made me appreciate what a powerful proposition we have.
“My aim is to get more people to start rethinking drinking and I am passionate about producing 0% drinks that taste as good as their alcoholic counterparts.
“Our appearance on Dragons’ Den was really exciting and the experience was invaluable. The Dragons certainly know their stuff and it was great to go into the Den knowing I had the support of experienced professionals such as Gorvins.”
Gorvins has supported Drynks Unlimited with legal advice on matters including commercial contracts, property, corporate structure and intellectual property. Drynks Unlimited’s Smashed range of alcohol free drinks use British ingredients to create beer and cider, before the alcohol is removed to retain the same flavour as a full alcohol drink.
