Google are running a series of free seminars and workshops as part of their drive to empower small business owners and for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain the necessary skills to get the most out of their digital marketing, boost their online presence and harness new ‘e-skills.
So far over 250,000 businesses have been helped through the programme. By encouraging and supporting a variety of businesses to use the Internet effectively, from entrepreneurs and one-man-band start-ups, to larger companies, these workshops aim to improve the country’s Internet economy.
Any kind of business can take advantage of the workshop and benefit from making the most of the Internet for their business.
The seminar is being held on Friday 11th April at Bredbury Hall Hotel from 2-3:30pm.
Following the seminar Google are running their ‘Juice Bar’ where experts will be on hand to give 1-2-1 consultations, tips, guidance and advice on the effective use of Google tools, Adwords and Social Media to help you boost your online presence and use the internet effectively to drive growth for your business.
Andrew Stunell, MP for Hazel Grove said:
“This is a one-off opportunity to pick the brains of the world experts on how to develop your business on line. It is free, and ‘hands on’, and will be just right for those with a strong business idea who want to succeed in the digital world.”
Recent research has shown that businesses which have a presence online, grow four to eight times faster than those who don’t.
