Funky Readers, online retailer of European designer glasses, eyewear and accessories, has unveiled a new brand image.
The Bramhall company, which was shortlisted for the best young business award at last year’s Stockport Business Awards, revealed the new logo following a trip to the Royal Highland Show.
Martin Cunningham, who owns Funky Readers alongside wife Judith, emphasised that the change is reflective of how the company has developed in the last three years:
He said: “When we first set out we weren’t sure how the public would react to some of the more quirky designs we offer.
“However, we’ve seen demand rise year on year, and the designers were offer are incredibly popular.
“Over the last three years, the business has grown rapidly, and we’ve had many customers who keep coming back, from all over the world.
“We have no intention of changing how we go about running our business, we love the fact that we send out all orders ourselves, and that we have direct communications and build relationships with our customers, but we feel the new branding is more reflective of where we are now – a little more polished.”
Having started out little more than three years ago, Funky Readers now sells fashionable reading glasses to customers all over the globe and its two websites stock fashion brands from across Europe.
