Following Boris Johnson’s recent announcements, indicating social distancing restrictions are likely to be in place for a further six months, NK Theatre Arts has postponed performances of Shrek the Musical until September 2021.
The show had been due to take audiences to Far Far Away in March of next year, however the Forum Theatre has taken the difficult decision to postpone performances for a second time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and social distancing requirements.
Revised performance dates for Shrek the Musical have been set for Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th September 2021. Tickets for the show which have already been purchased can be exchanged for the new date: tickets booked for the specific day and time (fir example, Saturday 2pm or Thursday 7.30pm) of the original show or any of the rearranged performances are are valid for the new dates.
The show has now been rearranged twice due to the pandemic, and NK Theatre Arts hope it will be ‘third time lucky’ for the new performance dates.
Tickets for Shrek the Musical are still on sale for the new performance dates from the Forum Theatre box office website.
In an email to its supporters announcing the schedule change, the theatre said:
Thanks for supporting live theatre and we can not wait to throw the doors to The Forum open once again!
