A post graduate taken on by Fairhurst Estates has qualified as a Chartered Surveyor where her colleagues were quick to offer their congratulations.
Graduate Surveyor Katie Wadsworth (pictured left) has just received confirmation that she has become a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor, having passed her Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
APC is the practical training and experience that leads to membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Its objective is to ensure graduate surveyors are competent to practise as a Chartered Surveyor.
The APC consists of a period of structured training, taking place over a minimum of 23 months during which the trainee must complete a minimum of 400 days relevant experience followed by a final assessment interview.
