Stockport’s Fairhurst Estates have produced a time-lapse video of a project completed for their client Hewden, hire specialists of plant and construction equipment.
Hewden’s latest hub depot in Bedford, a 3.35 acre brown field site was officially opened on Friday 24th October by local MP, Nadine Dorries after Fairhurst Estates building team acted as Project and Contact administrators. Construction took just four months as scheduled, and the new depot was ready to be opened on time.
The depot has been built at a cost of £1.6 million, the new rental depot offers general plant, access and cranes. The site demonstrates Hewden’s commitment to the environment, with a number of environmental measures in place including a water recycling wash bay, a sophisticated drainage system to prevent flooding in the surrounding area, and a rainwater harvesting system.
