Stockport’s Equity Group are taking steps to raise money for chosen charity of the year, St Ann’s Hospice.
As part of their pathway to reaching their goal of £2,000 this month, the team are taking part in The Accumulator Challenge. Throughout the month of October Equity are competing with local businesses to try and raise as much as they can from £100!
A group of colleagues from Equity, along with representatives from supplier Kier, took bold, and in some cases challenging, steps to reach their peak by climbing up Snowdon on Sunday 14 October to raise as much money as they could for St Ann’s Hospice.
Colleagues in Cheadle Hulme, who were unable to join the intrepid mountaineers, will be taking part in a ‘Treadmill Challenge’ back in the office on equipment loaned by Life Leisure, operators of leisure centres and gyms across Stockport. Each participating team mate will match the distance and gradient that was walked on Sunday.
Helené Orchard, marketing manager at Equity Housing, said:
“Please help us to raise as much as possible for St Ann’s Hospice. We are determined to raise as much as we can and you can help too by using the ‘Give Now’ button.
“The more people that know about St Ann’s Hospice, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
“Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!”
