Employment lawyers and HR specialists from Stockport firm, SAS Daniels LLP, will discuss the return to the workplace post-lockdown in a free webinar for local businesses.
The free 30-minute discussion takes place on Tuesday 25th May at 10am. It will provide guidance for North West employers, business owners and the self-employed, senior management and HR professionals as employees begin to return to the workplace as lockdown restrictions ease.
The session will cover workplace testing, how to handle objections to returning to the office or following safety protocols, what to consider from a COVID-19 perspective and new ways of working, such as remote and flexible working options.
The session will be led by Head of the Employment and HR Group, Katie Hodson (pictured) and Associate, Warren Moores. Participants can submit questions in advance or live to the panel. Katie Hodson said:
“As more lockdown restrictions are lifted over the next few weeks, many businesses will be planning for their employees to return to the office again. Employers will undoubtably have lots to consider before opening their doors. The webinar will discuss how to approach a safe return to the workplace, what precautions should be taken, and how to handle an employee objecting to returning or following the safety procedures that have been implemented.”
The webinar is the latest instalment in the firm’s SAS Live series of breakfast events which launched last year. The sixth in the series, previous webinars have considered redundancy and changing employment contracts to help businesses in the North-west navigate the complex legal ramifications of Covid-19’s impact on the economy and how businesses operate.
