Economist to share insights on the impact of Covid-19 with webinar for Stockport businesses

Leading economist, Dr John Ashcroft will be speaking with Stockport businesses to offer his insights on the economic impact of the Covid-19.

John will deliver the webinar on Thursday 11th June from 2pm to 3pm as part of a series of events, organised by SK Business Recovery, a partnership of the local business community and Stockport Council to support the borough’s businesses during this time.

The webinar is free to attend and delivered through Zoom, as part of the Stockport Recovery Board series, allowing local businesses to share advice and expertise during the Covid-19 crisis.

Dr John Ashcroft runs Economics blog, The Saturday Economist, and with a 50 year career in business, has advised companies of all sizes. He will be providing his insight into the economic impact of Covid-19 and what a recovery may look like, delivering economics in an engaging and informative way. There will also be an opportunity to pose questions to John through the Zoom chat, or they can be shared in advance.
