Drivers Jonas Deloitte is ditching the Drivers Jonas part of its name and will instead be known as Deloitte Real Estate.
The accountancy and business advisory firm rebrand is part of the company’s plans to develop a multidisciplinary practice.
All of Deloitte’s real estate specialists will be brought together under the new identity.
The practice will have more than 700 real estate specialists, who generated revenues of around £130 million in the year to May 2012.
Senior partner Andy Rothery will lead Deloitte Real Estate along with managing director Richard Owen, who is currently managing partner of Drivers Jonas Deloitte.
David Sproul, chief executive of Deloitte, described the move as an “important step in the development of its real estate business”.
“It is testament to the success we have witnessed since the merger of Deloitte and Drivers Jonas.
“It emphasises the importance of international markets to British companies by bringing our market identity in line with our real estate practices globally.”
Rothery, head of Deloitte Real Estate, said that clients need more than pure property advice because of complex and fast-changing markets.
