Don’t miss out! The deadline for Stockport Business Awards is 26th May – and there’s only just over a week left to get your entry in
The awards, held on 12th October, celebrate business success in the borough and are now established as one of the best nights in the Stockport Business calendar.
Andrew Baggott, of organisers Clarke Nicklin, commented:
“Last year we were celebrating our fifth awards ceremony. It was a fantastic evening that yet again recognised the incredibly successful businesses we have in the area.
“The event celebrates all that is great about business in Stockport and I would encourage anybody to look at the categories on the website and submit an entry. It’s free, easy, and there’s really nothing to lose by entering but lots to gain!”
The full list of categories are:
- Business of the Year (over £5m)
- Business of the Year (£1-5m)
- Business of the Year (up to £1m)
- Most Promising Young Business
- Business Person of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- International Business of the Year
- The Innovation Award
- Best Creative Agency
- Best Food & Drink Retailer
- Best Not-for-Profit Organisation
- Excellence in CSR
Two of the categories are new for 2017. The winner of the Best Food & Drink Retailer category will need to show how they have built a sustainable, profitable bar, restaurant or retail food business. Whilst creatives will battle it out to come out on top as the Best Agency in the competitive creative/digital field.
Entries are open until 26th May and it’s free and easy to apply at www.stockportbusinessawards.co.uk.
