DJS Research Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Tavini and Suzanne Fisher as Marketing Assistant and Junior Research Executive respectively. Both Richard and Suzanne are local to the Cheshire business, re-affirming the agency’s commitment to promoting and maintaining local talent.
Richard graduated from Salford University with a 2:1 in Business Studies. He is an experienced user of social media and prior to joining DJS Research he oversaw marketing activities for the Wycliffe Hotel, in Stockport. Richard joins DJS to assist in marketing and communications department as it steps up activity following the continued expansion of the company and the implementation of an increasingly international strategy.
Suzanne Fisher, who joins DJS as the fifth member of the agency’s research orientated graduate scheme, studied Psychology at the University of Sheffield, also achieving a 2:1. Suzanne initially joined DJS via an internship, eventually proving her abilities to the extent that she was offered a permanent contract.
Suzanne will initially be managed by Alasdair Gleed, Research Director, and will gain a wide variety of methodological and sector experience – although it is likely she will be heavily involved in the public sector in her initial months.
Speaking about the appointments, Alasdair – who has conducted research in over 60 countries – felt they were symptomatic of the progress DJS has made in recent months:
“The fact that we have taken on so many people over the last few months, and yet we still need to expand the research and marketing teams, speaks volumes for the growth we’re experiencing at the moment. Both Suzanne and Richard have proved themselves to be very effective in their respective job roles with their previous achievements, both here at DJS and elsewhere, and as always it’s great for us as a company to be able to recruit from the local area, we’re really lucky to have access to such top quality candidates in that way.”
DJS Research Ltd offers a number of market research internships throughout the year. In previous years, we have hosted interns from France, Germany and Colorado (USA) as well as students studying in Stockport, Manchester, Sheffield, Cambridge and the wider UK.
