District heating specialist becomes latest acquisition for Stockport firm

Stockport infrastructure and utilities group, OCU Group, has announced the acquisition of South Yorkshire-based district heating specialist, Valmech.

The deal is the latest in a string of acquisitions for the business that further strengthens OCU’s positions in the energy transition market.

Valmech, which provides mechanical services including district heating installations, plant rooms, heating and domestic pipework services and gas pipework, will operate as a dedicated platform for district heating delivery within the Stockport group. The business’ existing management team will remain in place following the sale to OCU.
